The gorgeous Renee contacted me regarding photographing her and Tom’s pre formal photos. With all my sessions it is up to the client to choose the location or backdrop for their session and Renee told me she had the perfect place, Tom’s parent’s back yard. When I arrived I knew exactly why Renee had chosen it, the lawns were beautifully manicured, the staircase was just amazing and the massive vertical garden wall made for the most stunning backdrop! This session went off without a hitch due to the wonderful people, the beautiful backdrops and the excitement in the air over formal.

This gorgeous family has members from the Gold Coast and Rockhampton. While on holidays they decided to meet up to get some pictures all together at the grandparent’s beautiful property. This session was very relaxed with cupcakes to get the kids smiling and flower picking of grandma’s best flowers. This captured exactly what this family wanted, a relaxed informal session with everyone enjoying themselves. I even left with a small bouquet myself…thanks kids!

The beautiful Leah started her formal package with my very talented hair and makeup artist Kirei by Karyn. Leah and her parents then met me along the Fitzroy River Pontoons to start the session before heading to some of the gorgeous heritage buildings Rockhampton has to offer that also make for wonderful backdrops. Leah’s formal partner joined us for a couple of shots near the end of the session but I think you can agree this girl stole the show with that face and dress….what a stunner!

The Smith family are lovely returning clients. When Tanya rang asking whether I could photograph her Grandmother’s surprise 80th birthday party I was thrilled! We had fun organising each family group for pictures and then trying to get the one picture where everyone was looking and smiling. I think you will see by the the look on her face that Grandma was impressed with the turnout and also being in the spotlight for the day …. although she did remark that her cheeks were hurting from all that smiling!

This lovely family was part of my fundraising efforts at my daughter’s Kindy last year. Three generations of beauty that all loved and adored each other which was so evident to see. An absolute blessing to photograph the smiles, laughter and connection they shared.

These girls were lots of fun and didn’t need any prompting with posing from cuddling each other, lifting each other up and snuggling on the grass it was adorable to watch and capture!

It was an absolute privilege being asked to be the official photographer for the Anzac Day Celebrations in Rockhampton this year. The parade started in Archer Street and ended at the Town Hall with so many of the Rockhampton community joining in both the parade and along the footpaths to watch. After running a competition on my page to win a free photoshoot, Louisa discovered she had won and asked if her and Wade could use it for a maternity session which of course I was thrilled with. I also organised Hair and Makeup with my regular artist Kirei by Karyn. Louisa brought her own beautiful maternity gown and we headed to this stunning location of natural light, long over grown grass and gorgeous backdrop.
